Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix's Costars Take Sides in “VPR” Teaser as She Warns He'll 'Be Dealing with My Lawyers'

Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix appeared together for the first time in five months at BravoCon on Friday

Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules is already SUR-ving up the drama.

Bravo debuted the teaser for the upcoming season at Friday's VPR panel at BravoCon 2023, hilariously showing James Kennedy literally drawing a literal line in the sand to demarcate which of his costars were on Ariana Madix’s side versus Tom Sandoval’s side after the pair abruptly ended their nine-year relationship in the wake of Sandoval’s months-long affair with friend and former castmate Rachel “Raquel” Leviss.

Scheana Shay is also seen in the teaser hugging Sandoval, and in response, Katie Maloney warned, “If you're going to be friends with him, [Ariana] is going to f---ing cut you off, so think about your next move very carefully.”

The teaser finishes with a clip of Madix, 38, saying to Sandoval, 41: “Ruin my life, my home and then f---ing attempt to kill my dog. My lawyer will be dealing with you.”

At the panel — moderated by Karamo Brown and also featuring Lisa Vanderpump, Tom Schwartz, Lala Kent, Brock Davies, Ally Lewber — each member of the cast was asked to describe the next season in one word, and the responses included "sad," “surprising," "hard," "bewildering" and "tough."

Vanderpump, 63, acknowledged the difficulty of filming the newest season, saying, "This season was extraordinarily difficult for Tom and Ariana … but for me as a maternal figure and a matriarch and a mentor to them … [I] try to facilitate some cohesion," she added. "This is Vanderpump Rules. It’s not Little House on the Prairie."

Madix added, “I know what filming was like for me, it was weird, it was strange, it was difficult… I knew I was gonna have some very strong and ultimately negative feelings but I think if anything, the last year has shown me I can do hard things — and it was hard, but we did it.”

With the season behind her, Madix is focused on Dancing with the Stars and made clear that while filming the show, she is not staying in the house she shares with Sandoval. “I’m actively trying to change the ownership of the house situation,” she says to the audience after sharing she'd also be rehearsing in Vegas this weekend with a punishing rehearsal schedule of 11 a.m. to 3 a.m. on Friday night.

While Madix is focused on moving forward, she knows there is no future for any form of relationship with Sandoval. “It's tough but no we’re not gonna be acquaintances or friends, no thanks.”

Kent, 33, expressed a more nuanced perspective on the matter, acknowledging she might get booed like Sandoval for it. “In a weird, weird way, I don’t know if it’s respect, but with everyone really hating on Tom, he still went out, still performed shows, he's sitting in front of y’all getting booed,” Kent said. “If I were in his position, I’d tell y’all to go f--- off.”

During the panel, Sandoval said when it comes to the affair and the events that followed, “Yes, of course I would have done things differently.”

When asked by a fan why he hadn't stepped away from the show in the wake of the Scandoval, he told the hostile crowd: "I’d rather stand here and face it"
