Tom Hanks attends red carpet event with his wife, Rita Wilson
Tom Hanks and his wife, Rita Wilson, attended the film premiere for Asteroid City together on Tuesday, 13 June.
Attending the New York premiere for the new film — which took place at Alice Tully Hall at the Lincoln Center — the husband and wife duo looked happy and relaxed as they walked the red carpet. Both chose to wear black suits, making for a co-ordinated and sleek ensemble.
Rita looked chic in a black suit with a satin-like sheen to it — opting to wear her hair in waves and choosing a glamorous beauty look. Meanwhile, Tom looked stylish in a simple yet classic black suit.
Tom and Rita have been married since 1988 — and the pair regularly attend film premieres together, much to the delight of their fans. Prior to their appearance in New York, the pair were seen at the premiere for Asteroid City at the Cannes Film Festival — which took place in May. Tom and Rita walked the red carpet graciously together, with Tom opting for a classic tuxedo and Rita wearing a beautiful black gown with jewelled embellishment.
A particularly sweet moment occurred on the red carpet when the duo posed for photos with Bryan Cranston — who was also with his wife, Robin Dearden.
Both Tom Hanks and Bryan Cranston star in Asteroid City — which is the latest film by legendary director, Wes Anderson. They are joined by an all star cast, including Scarlett Johansson, Margot Robbie, Adrien Brody and Tilda Swinton— to name just a few. The film is due to be released in UK cinemas on Friday, 23 June.
