New title revealed for "The Purge 5"

10 Apr – For a while now, the fifth instalment of the "The Purge" franchise has always been referred to as 'untitled' but looks like now it has an official name attached to it.
According to Bloody Disgusting, The Hollywood Reporter let slip the movie's title in a feature that includes producer Jason Blum.
"Blum is at home with his wife, writer Lauren Schuker Blum, and two children. There, he spends his days managing calls and prepping upcoming projects, including feature films The Forever Purge, Run Sweetheart Run and Halloween Kills and Showtime limited series The Good Lord Bird," the entry on Blum stated.
It has yet to be announced by Blumhouse Productions, but this does reveal that the fifth movie will be officially titled "The Forever Purge".
Cris Parker of 3CFilmReview, who first mentioned the 'title slip' on his social media, speculated that the title could mean The Purge – during which all crimes in a near-future dystopian America are legal for a 12-hour period – is now a 24/7 event instead of just once a year.
The movie is slated for release this July but considering the current circumstances, with all stages of productions halted and cinemas closed due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, there might be changes to its release schedule.
"The Forever Purge" is said to be the final instalment of the dystopian action horror franchise, which started in 2013 with the Ethan Hawke-starring "The Purge", followed by "The Purge: Anarchy" (2014) and "The Purge: Election Year" (2016).
