Tina Shek ties the knot with boyfriend in the US
18 Jul - Former TVB starlet Tina Shek has recently tied the knot with boyfriend of four years, Jacob.
The 23-year-old "Beauty At War" actress announced the good news online, saying that she and her marketing executive boyfriend have secretly married in the United States.
In an interview with Mingpao after the announcement, Tina denied that it was a shotgun wedding, saying, "Jacob and I hadn't meet up for almost an entire year, how could we have made a baby?"
However, the actress said that they are planning to become parents, although not anytime soon.
In a Facebook post she wrote last week, Tina complimented her husband as a funny and witty man, and that although they like to quarrel with each other, they were very compatible with each other.
Tina also revealed that they have saved a lot of money for their wedding, that she bought her dress cheap and made some alterations, took their photos themselves by using a tripod and a self-timer, and were able to do it with less than RMB1000.
