Timezone Singapore opens biggest arcade outlet at Westgate with 3 basketball courts
Spanning 18,000 square feet, Timezone Singapore will be opening their largest outlet yet at Westgate on 4 Dec.
The new Timezone Westgate will be as big as three basketball courts combined, featuring over 200 of the latest arcade games and attractions in three specific zones. It will also house themed party rooms and offers the largest prize shop, with both Disney and Mario Bros having dedicated walls of merchandise.
The new arcade space will be split into Carnival, Music, and Racing Zones. Carnival Zone will house challenging games such as Roll-a-ball, a first in Timezone, for the younger children. The Racing Zone will feature various need-for-speed games such as the intense Midnight Maximum Tune. Lastly, the Music Zone is where cult favourites such as Dance Dance Revolution, Dance Rush Stardom and Mai Mai DX will be located.
There will also be eight lanes of bowling catered for both adults and kids at Timezone Westgate. Exclusive to the arcade, there will be four lanes of family favourite mini bowling with lighter balls where both grandparents and kids can indulge in. The other four lanes of Social Bowling deliver a “real-feel” bowling experience using standard bowling balls but without the hassle of changing your shoes.
“Opening our largest venue during a pandemic also reinforces our commitment to nation-building. Ever since our arcades reopened after the circuit breaker period, we have welcomed back gamers and families alike, with a host of safety measures that protect both our team and the public. Measures that keep our guests safe such as a door concierge, elevated hygiene standards, and a host of enhanced safety processes that make Timezone venues a Safe Zone for all,” Nesh Selva, General Manager of Timezone Singapore, said.
To celebrate the opening, Timezone Westgate will be hosting a series of activities such as the One Million Tickets Challenge where the winner will walk away with one million raffle tickets.
