Not just decorative, keychains can be as useful as they are adorable. Why wouldn't your most-used necessity match the rest of your curated lifestyle? An undecorated keyring with cold, colorless steel is not adding any happiness to your life, so why not introduce a daily dose of self expression to your fob?
Style aside, they can also make your day a little more efficient: It's impossible to miss a bright or oversized keychain, be it clipped to your purse or sat at the bottom of a full bucket bag. The faster you find it, the faster you're out (or in the door, rather). Plus, keychains are at the more affordable end of the designer goods spectrum — especially when you factor in cost per wear.
Not that you necessarily need to justify the purchase too much. You've made it through the first month of the year! You deserve a little treat.
