Tia Lee keeps mum whether new song is about Kai Ko

22 Mar – Taiwanese singer Tia Lee is neither denying nor confirming that her new song, "Should Have" is about her rumoured relationship with Kai Ko, which reportedly ended late last year.

As reported on Epoch Times, the singer, who appeared at the press conference to launch the new single, shared that the song is about how easy it is for two people to break up even though there is still room for communication.

When asked if she is talking about her own regrets in dealing with her past relationship, Tia said, "I believe firmly in every decision I make. This song is about treasuring one's relationship."

Speaking about relationships and breakups, Tia said that the "two people" are still in contact with each other and would sometimes meet each other for dinner privately, and that mostly it was "the man" who made the plans.

"We are still friends. He has heard the song and wished me a Happy Valentine's Day," she said.

But Tia denied that "the man" was someone special, stressing that he was just a friend.

When asked if she is worried that other men will be too afraid to pursue her because of the link between her and Kai Ko, she said, "I don't worry about that. A man that likes me should not be looking at the news."
