Three of NCT members to form new trio subunit

10 Mar – NCT will be unveiling their first trio sub-unit Do Jae-Jung (Doyoung, Jaehyun, Jungwoo) in the first half of the year.

SM Entertainment confirmed the news on 9 March, saying, "NCT Doyoung, Jaehyun, and Jungwoo are indeed preparing their first unit debut album. Please look forward to it."

NCT has been carrying out unit activities since 2016 in the form of four sub-units, including the rotational NCT U, as well as the Seoul-based NCT 127.

The trio's sub-unit project is already an open secret among fans. They previously performed the unreleased song "Can We Go Back" at NCT 127's concert as well as the 2022 MBC Music Festival.

The group has 23 members consisting of four sub-units
