Think you’re attractive? These top 5 signs prove your undeniable sexiness, according to a psychologist

Here’s the ugly truth — you’re actually pretty hot.

So, buxom beauties aren’t swooning at your feet? Hunky heartthrobs aren’t camped outside of your bedroom window playing love songs from a boombox (Note to Gen Z: a boombox is a portable music player olds used in the 1900s)?

That doesn’t mean you’re not a total smoke-show, so says this psychologist.

“Five signs you are more attractive than you think,” mental health pro Francesca Tighinean titled a trending TikTok bulletin, reassuring her 1.3 million followers that their feelings of low self-esteem are likely deluded.

It’s a meaningful message most folks — namely tweens, teens and twenty-somethings — need to hear now more than ever.

Thanks to recent beauty trends, anti-aging hacks and the constant self-comparison that goes on online, Gen Zers, youngsters under age 27, have become “paralyzed” with the fear of growing older and transforming into “unattractive hags” by age 30.

The panic of losing one’s looks has, unfortunately, also trickled down to teenyboppers as young as age 9.

Wannabe glamor gals of the “Sephora kids” movement have spent the majority of 2024 virtually ransacking makeup shops for expensive cosmetics meant to preserve or enhance their fleeting beauty.

But Tighinean, a US transplant from Romania, who reportedly studied psychology at City University in London, suggests insecure sweethearts — be they age 9 or 99 — keep an eye out for these telltale signs that they’re actually fine.

“One,” she began in her post, “people raise their eyes when they see you.”

“This is known as the eyebrow flash, and can be a subconscious of interest or intrigue.”

“Two,” Tighinean continued, “others go out of their way to help you.”

She called the phenomenon the “Halo effect,” explaining that it occurs because “attractiveness is associated with positive qualities.”

“We tend to subconsciously be friendlier and more generous to those we find attractive,” said Tighinean.

The expert then revealed that a lack of flattery from others is actually proof that you’re a real pinup.

“You rarely get compliments on looks,” she said. “That’s because people think you’re already aware of how attractive you are, and, therefore, they don’t need to remind you of it.”

“Four,” added Tighinean, “strangers stare at you — people tend to maintain longer and more frequent eye contact with those they find attractive.”

The prettiness pro rounded out her allure list with the fifth and final clue that everyone thinks you’re cute.

“People are surprised by your insecurities,” she said.

“This response often indicates that they view you in a more positive light than you perceive yourself.”
