The best Maldives getaway for every type of traveller

As our island reopens more travel lanes, we can also take preemptive measures by protecting ourselves. For a start, the COVID-19 vaccine has made it safer for us to travel, making tourism a realistic prospect.

The Singapore-Maldives Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) was launched last 16 December 2021. Under the VTL, fully vaccinated travellers from Maldives travelling on VTL flights may enter Singapore without quarantine and would just need to undergo COVID-19 testing. Short-term visitors and long-term pass holders will also need to apply for a Vaccinated Travel Pass to enter Singapore under the VTL. Given that travel guidelines can change regularly, travellers are advised to refer to https://safetravel.ica.gov.sg for details on the requirements for entry into Singapore.

Actress Julie Tan was among the few who took the opportunity to travel to the Maldives to celebrate her 29th birthday. To plan for your next great Maldives trip, don't forget to do your research and book your next holiday with flexible booking options and travel insurance with COVID-19 coverage.

Here are some of the coveted stays we're bookmarking for your next great trip.
