Thai pop-up market Artbox coming to Singapore in April
Forget going to Bangkok for shopping. Thailand’s famous creative pop-up market Artbox is coming to Singapore instead this April, bringing with it a host of other activities.
Artbox Singapore will feature its iconic fairy lights installation, along with an array of over 200 international vendors, gastronomic eats from over 60 food stalls and a beer market for shoppers to indulge in.
Not one for shopping? Fret not, because Artbox Singapore also boasts of a myriad of other activities such as music performances, open mic sessions and charity drives.
Most widely known for housing stalls in metal shipping containers, this will be the first time that the famed Thai market is venturing overseas, which they have titled “It’s Time to Move On”. While Artbox changes location from time to time, it has never left Thailand before. It is currently in Chatuchak, one of the country’s most famous shopping districts.
The local version of Artbox will be held over two consecutive weekends on 14-16 April and 21-23 April, from 3pm to 11pm at the Bayfront Event Space next to Marina Bay Sands. Entry is free.
