Thai actor Win Metawin lends his star power to Tiffany & Co. Lock pop-up in Singapore
Win will return to Singapore with F4 members Bright, Dew Jirawat and Hirunkit for their Shooting Star Asia Tour this March.
Some things are better together. Luxury jeweller Tiffany & Co. recently constructed a Lock pop-up at Ion Orchard, Singapore, and invited celebrities and guests to celebrate the launch yesterday (22 February).
Among some of the personalities who walked the 'blue carpet' were Thai actor Win Metawin Opas-iamkajorn, actor Lawrence Wong, actress Fann Wong, singer Benjamin Kheng and the Fandi family comprising of singer and model Iman Fandi, together with her brothers, Ilhan and Ikhsan Fandi.
Screams echoed throughout the mall when Thai actor Win Metawin Opas-iamkajorn, better known as Metawin, stepped into the pop-up and waved at his adoring fans. The actor is fast becoming an IT star, thanks to his memorable acting in BL drama 2gether: The Series, and F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers, the Thai remake of the popular K-drama Boys Over Flowers series. Metawin also cemented his status with the fashion crowd as he was recently appointed as Prada's global ambassador, making him the first Thai actor to hold that title in history.

Host Naomi Yeo kicked off the brief Q&A session by asking Metawin his food preference since returning to Singapore, and the cheery actor replied, "hotpot", much to the delight of his fans. "I haven't tried in Singapore, but I heard it's so good here," he added. Metawin, dressed in a Prada suit and complemented by Tiffany & Co.'s Lock necklace, will return with F4 members Bright, Dew Jirawat and Hirunkit for their Shooting Star Asia Tour this 11 March.
To complete his final appearance, Metawin toured the pop-up and spent some time observing the live engraving station where a craftswoman was seen engraving some initials on a bracelet.
The Lock collection pays homage to the jeweller’s illustrious heritage while introducing the latest innovation to the bangle: an elegant swivelling mechanism that allows the designs to open and close.
