Terrace House stars Seina and Noah announce that they're married
Terrace House cast members Seina Shimabukuro and Noah Ishikura announced last night on their respective Instagram accounts that they have tied the knot. The couple met on the Japanese reality television series Terrace House, which puts strangers to live together in the same house, who eventually get to know and date each other.
Seina explained on her Instagram, “He has always been by my side, and naturally, it made me want to be with him in the future too.” She thanked those who had given their support, and prayed for good health for everyone amidst the coronavirus situation.
Noah also wrote on his Instagram, “It’s been about three years since we started dating. I’m very grateful for her unchanging love. When I’m troubled, she thinks about it with me, cries with me, and sometimes scolds the immature me. She has supported me and stayed by my side all this time. I’ve come to realise that I want to be with her forever.”
The couple, who first got to know each other in Terrace House: Opening New Doors that aired from 2017 to 2019, are in fact the first to get married from the reality television series. Their friends and fans have since rained congratulatory messages on their Instagram, and were overjoyed with the long-awaited marriage.
