Teresa Mo to Charlene Choi: Never give-up!
25 Apr – Teresa Mo would be the person who understands most the frustration of returning home empty-handed time and time again, which is why the actress was full of support for Charlene Choi - who lost her chance at winning HKFA's Best Actress yet again recently.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who was asked about Charlene's recent loss to newcomer Chloe Mayaan, stated that everybody was a little disappointed when the Twins member did not win.
"I have seen "The Lady Improper". She did put a lot of heart into her performance. But Chloe was too strong of an opponent," said Teresa.
Asked what she would say to Charlene, Teresa, who herself won her first HKFA Best Actress award last year for his performance in "Tomorrow is Another Day", stated that it is important for the actress not to give up.
"She only needed another chance to win. The most important thing is to get that opportunity again. She would win it in the end. I am a good example of that. I lost in all my previous nominations, but I finally won it years later," she said.
