But she had the best reaction.

Taylor Swift may have become the unofficial face of the Kansas City Chiefs’ cheering section by supporting her NFL star beau, Travis Kelce, at Arrowhead this season, but that didn’t stop her from facing one age-old WAG right of passage during Sunday night’s matchup: getting booed at when visiting the opposing team’s home turf.

Over the weekend, Swift faced the backlash when attending the Chiefs’ game against the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA. In a clip shared by X user @DonnieMexico17, the songstress was shown sitting in a box with her dad and Brittany Mahomes (who’s married to Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes) on the stadium’s jumbotron alongside the message, “Welcome back to Gillette Stadium.” (Lest you forget, she last visited the stadium when performing three sold-out Eras Tour shows back in May).

Although Taylor’s presence is normally met with cheers of adoration, Patriots fans opted to give her a not-so-warm welcome by booing at her stint on the screen. Luckily, the A-lister took the crowd’s boos in stride by smiling, laughing, and blowing a kiss at the crowd before turning to Mahomes to say, “I knew this was coming.”

Swift’s appearance at Sunday’s game came just weeks after she opened up about her thoughts on being filmed during Chiefs games when talking to Time for her Person of the Year cover story.

“I don’t know how they know what suite I’m in,” she said of NFL broadcasts that film her reactions during the games. “There’s a camera, like, a half-mile away, and you don’t know where it is, and you have no idea when the camera is putting you in the broadcast, so I don’t know if I’m being shown 17 times or once. I’m just there to support Travis. I have no awareness of if I’m being shown too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads, and Chads.”
