Tavia Yeung still enjoys acting
20 Oct - Although she rarely makes public appearances and participate in TV programmes nowadays, Tavia Yeung stated that it doesn't mean she is slowly leaving showbiz.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who appeared at a health food event recently, stated that she hasn't been doing lots of appearances since the pandemic, and that the most important thing right now is to be a mother to her children.
"When I worked during the pandemic, I came into contact with many people and had to quarantine myself, so I decided to reduce my public appearances. Now I am more relaxed and only take on jobs that suit me," she said.
Asked if she ever thought about how much less she earns now due to her decision, Tavia said that she would rather calculate how much she gained instead of how much she lost.
"I feel like the most important thing is safety. My two kids bring me a lot of happiness," she added.
However, Tavia stressed that she is always interested in returning to acting and will do so if there is a suitable role coming her way.
"I always love doing dramas and I want to work hard to earn more money and maintain my passion for work," she added.
