Tavia Yeung enjoys the freedom post-TVB
25 Sep – Former TVB actress Tavia Yeung doesn't think that she is losing acting jobs since leaving the company, but that it has enabled her to make more choices when it comes to roles.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who ended her contract with TVB in 2016, shared that she has a lot more time to think about her career direction since leaving TVB.
"For example, when I am offered a character that suits me, I can just go for it or choose not to do it. It's more relaxed. At the same time, I have also changed my mentality about work, and I don't work as hard as I did before," she said.
Tavia also admitted that both she and husband Him Law would always discuss the kinds of roles that are offered to them, making sure to respect the views of their family.
"My husband never stop me from doing movies and dramas. But I will always discuss the project with him. Our goal is to always make more money for the future," she said.
