Tavia Yeung drops hints about leaving TVB

10 Feb - TVB's Queen of Drama Tavia Yeung is dropping hints that she is leaving the company, after declining the opportunity to work with Gallen Lo in the upcoming drama, "The Conspirators".

According to HK Channel, the actress reportedly was producer Wong Wai Sing's first choice to play Gallen's leading lady in his comeback drama.

However, the actress decided to turn down the project, saying that her contract will end one month into production and that she didn't want to put the project at risk.

This sparked speculations that Tavia is indeed planning to leave the company like it was previously rumoured, and wanted to avoid what happened to Myolie Wu.

Previously, Myolie was reportedly banned from attending the promotional events for her dramas, "Every Step You Take" and "Lord of Shanghai", following her decision to leave the company after her contract expires. Her long-delayed drama, "Rosy Business 3: No Reserve", has also been shelved until further notice.

Meanwhile, it was also reported that the broadcast of Tavia's period drama, "The Last Healer in Forbidden City", was also postponed to an indefinite date because of her decision not to renew her contract.
