Tavia Yeung: "Another Era" is not a sequel
25 Sep – Tavia Yeung recently dismissed the idea that her drama, "Another Era" is a sequel to the hit 1999 series, "At the Threshold of an Era".
As reported on Mingpao, the actress who sat down for an interview recently, stated that she felt no pressure of having her drama being compared to its predecessor since it is not a continuation of the story.
"The background of the story is completely different. You can say that it is another version. I hope that the viewers won't tune in thinking of watching a sequel," she said.
Asked if she is worried that people would compare the two series, Tavia said that she can't control what people might say.
"As an actor, I can only do my job. The most important thing for me is to play the role well," she added.
