Tang Wei releases wedding photos, announces marriage
20 Aug – Chinese actress Tang Wei and South Korean director Kim Tae-yong recently released their wedding photos and announced their marriage.
According to Sina News, on 19 August, the actress's agency announced the news on Weibo. "We are delighted to hereby announce the good news. With their parents and family as eyewitnesses, Tang Wei and Kim Tae-yong have formally tied the knot and will start a new life journey together."
The agency also wished the couple happiness and thanked friends and fans for their support and love for the actress.
Tang and husband also left a message to fans. "[Though] a new stage of life is fresh yet challenging, we are fully prepared to experience it together with love and respect. Thank you again for all your care and we wish everyone love and happiness."
Meanwhile, according to Korea Herald, Kim's management agency, Bom Film Productions revealed that the ceremony was held privately in Hong Kong, date undisclosed, and attended only by family members.
The couple already had an unofficial wedding last month at late filmmaker Ingmar Bergman's front yard in Fårö, Sweden.
The 35-year-old actress met the 45-year-old director while filming the South Korean movie "Late Autumn" together in 2009.
