Tang Wei is inspired by nature in East Malaysia
21 Jan - Tang Wei surprises Malaysian fans as she revealed that she has been holidaying in East Malaysia with daughter Summer.
The actress hinted on her location as early as 16 January by posting a tree that was tagged "Kalimantan Look Out Point". Later on, on 19 January, she posted a photo of her and Summer with no caption, but tagged the location to be Kuching, Sarawak.
She finally shared her thoughts about her trip on 20 January, writing, "I have always said that humans are also animals, but this time in Borneo, especially in front of this tree, I felt like a citizen of Lilliput."
"I heard a lot about the rainforest. For example, the plants in the rainforest where orangutans live are 10-50 times larger than this. It was awe-inspiring, the nature. Whether it is AI or nature, humans are not as great as imagined. We are not the masters, at most we participate and observe, and are observed."
Tang stated that walking into nature will make one's heart peaceful, because it is a way of returning to pure nature, without steel and concrete.
