Tammy Chen to marry surgeon boyfriend in September

6 Jul - Taiwanese actress Tammy Chen finally has a date for her upcoming wedding to American-based plastic surgeon boyfriend, Xue Boren.

According to Epoch Times, the actress, who surprised many by accepting Xue's wedding proposal three months into their relationship last year, revealed that the two of them will be holding their reception in Chiang Mai, Thailand on 26 September.

The wedding was previously set to be held in June. However, they decided to postpone the event after Tammy was reported to have collapsed while filming her new drama.

The couple also opted for a September wedding to avoid the summer heat.

As to why they have chosen Chiang Mai as their wedding destination, it was revealed that Tammy and Xue fell in love with the local climate after a recent trip.
