Tam Ping Man is still busy with voice-over work

14 Sep - Though it was rumoured that TVB Pearl is cancelling its Cantonese voice-over broadcast, veteran star and voice-over actor Tam Ping man revealed that he is as busy as ever with voice acting work.

As reported on On CC News, the 80-year-old, who visited TVB City to appear on "Sunday Song Bird" recently, stated that there is no change in his work schedule even after it was reported that the channel will no longer do Cantonese dubbing.

"I have been working since 9am this morning, and just got off work. I am still doing voice-over work six days a week," he said.

When asked if the decision to cancel Cantonese dubbing was due to shortage of staff, Tam denied it, saying that the voice acting department has never had such a problem.

"We have new people coming in from the training class all the time. But we also have a lot of Korean dramas to work on right now, and not enough resources to do them yet," he said.
