Talbis Iblis hits RM 1 million mark in four days

26 Oct – The new Kabir Bhatia movie, "Talbis Iblis" has now reached the RM 1 million mark.

Sharing the good news on social media, lead actress Azira Shafinaz wrote, "Syukur Alhamdulillah! We've reached a milli! Keep it coming guys. Thank you, Malaysia, for your support for my first film."

On the other hand, producer Gayatri Su-Lin Pillai stated that the film did not do as well on the first day, possibly due to Deepavali, as many people might have opted to return to their hometowns instead.

"But we were quite surprised that the numbers increased last weekend. We were told that the most audiences came from Pahang, Kedah, Melaka and Negeri Sembilan. We are very grateful for this positive feedback," she said to Harian Metro.

The upcoming movie, starring Azira Shafinaz, Nasha Aziz, Zul Ariffin among others, revolves around a woman who goes to live with a mysterious midwife after finding herself pregnant out of wedlock.
