Tailoring Was Trending at the CFDA Fashion Awards 2023: Emma Chamberlain, Law Roach and More Stars Who Embraced Suiting

Sleek suiting was all of the rage on Monday at the CFDA Fashion Awards in New York, with stars including Emma Chamberlain, Law Roach and Paloma Elsesser putting their own unique spins on the tailoring trend.

As reported by WWD, suits of all styles are one of this season’s top trends. Spanning couture, menswear and ready-to-wear, uniform flares like bold shoulders, peaked lapels and tailored topcoats show no signs of slowing down — just take it from Alexander McQueen, Valentino and Jean Paul Gaultier.

Celebrated “image architect” Roach sported a khaki topcoat with peak lapels and a matching maxiskirt featuring curious cutouts. The stylist’s Luar ensemble also included a white button-up, a pale satin tie and fishnet stockings. Roach completed his look with a pair of brown snakeskin boots, oversized aviators and a geometric top-handle purse.
