    Unh! Ever since the comical Pikotaro — who dons an iconic yellow outfit with a leopard-print scarf — came up with the catchy Pen Pineapple Apple Pen (PPAP) song, his popularity has skyrocketed. Apart from moving into the role of a producer, the Japanese comedian also recently had the honour of performing at the official state reception when President Donald Trump visited Japan. Despite his success now, Pikotaro was previously known by his other stage name, Daimaou Kosaka.

    'PPAP' star Piko-Taro marries model girlfriend 15 years his junior

    Piko Taro drew on a mustache and wore animal print pajamas to the Grammys. Japanese YouTube sensation Piko Taro, who is best known for his 2016 viral hit, “PPAP (Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen)”, announced on Friday (4 August) that he has married his 29-year-old model girlfriend, Hitomi Yasueda. Piko-Taro, whose real name is Kazuhito Kosaka, said on his blog that he registered for marriage with his girlfriend on Thursday.

    Following his worldwide breakthrough song Pen Pineapple Apple Pen (PPAP), Japanese sensation Piko-Taro is moving on to conquer the anime world. With himself as the theme, Piko-Taro will be voice acting all the characters in TV anime “Piko-Taro’s Lullaby Luullaby”. Scheduled to broadcast this summer, “Piko-Taro’s Lullaby Luullaby” is produced by the man himself, who also handles the planning, the drafting and the music.
