    'Goblin' actor Lee Dong-wook at opening of flagship Gentle Monster store in Singapore

    South Korean actor Lee Dong-wook was back in Singapore for his second visit this year, this time to attend the opening of Korean eyewear brand Gentle Monster’s first Southeast Asian flagship boutique store at ION Orchard on Tuesday (26 Sept). The opening party of the Gentle Monster store in Singapore was also attended by local celebrities such as Joanne Peh, Lee Teng, Xu Bin, Derrick Hoh, Kelly Poon, Shigga Shay, Rozz Lee, and Hayley and Jayley Woo.

    Korean designer eyewear brand, Gentle Monster, opened their first Southeast Asian flagship boutique store opening at ION Orchard on Tuesday (26 September). Actor Lee Dong-wook (who played The Grim Reaper in popular K-drama 'Goblin') attended the opening event, which was also graced by local celebrities such as Joanne Peh, Lee Teng, Xu Bin, Derrick Hoh, Kelly Poon, Shigga Shay, Rozz Lee, and Hayley and Jayley Woo. Gentle Monster is known for its funky eyewear designs as well as their themed retail spaces in Shanghai, New York, and various locations in South Korea.     Actor Lee Dong-wook may have played an uninvited tenant as the Grim Reaper on Korean drama “Goblin”, but it’s clear he would be welcomed by fans in Singapore any day. The 35-year-old Lee was at Plaza Singapura on Saturday (15 April) for an open press conference, hours before his “For My Dear” show at Marina Bay Sands later in the day. The hot sun (and later dark clouds) did not deter fans in Singapore from crowding to see their beloved K-drama star, with some even arriving before 8.30am to claim a spot and make their voices heard.

The 35-year-old Lee was at Plaza Singapura on Saturday (15 April) for an open press conference, hours before his "For My Dear" show at Marina Bay Sands later in the day. Lee also spoke of his numerous roles, saying that he brought a bit of himself to each character that he played. When asked what other roles he would like to try in the future, some fans suggested that Lee portray a bad guy, with a few even going as far as to call for him to play a "pervert". The actor approved of the first suggestion and laughed off the second. Lee’s fanmeet will be held at the Mastercard Theatres and Marina Bay Sands on 15 April at 7.30pm.
