Zsa Zsa wears Dolphy on her wrist
Zsa Zsa Padalla got a “tribute tattoo” near her left wrist to remind her of longtime partner Dolphy –Lovey to her – every time she sings.
She showed off the tattoo during her comeback in “ASAP 2012” on Sunday, August 5.
“Every time I sing, I want people to remember. It's very personal to me, it says ‘Lovey.’ Penmanship po niya iyan,” Zsa Zsa said.
That same day, Zsa Zsa tweeted a photo of the tattoo. The tweet read,
“My tribute tattoo for Dolphy. It's in his writing traced by Jaime Tud. We got it from a Valentine's card he gave me last year.”
Zsa Zsa also tweeted that this is her first tattoo ever. Dolphy’s daughter, Zia and son Vandolph also got tattoos as a tribute to Dolphy. Zia has an a “RVQ” tattoo on her nape, while Vandolph’s shows an image of Dolphy praying.
Their “ASAP” co-hosts -- Gary Valenciano, Martin Nievera, Christian Bautista, Billy Crawford, Aiza Seguerra and others -- welcomed Zsa Zsa and Zia back to the show with the song “That’s What Friends Are For.” Zsa Zsa and Zia sang a duet of “Glory of Love.”
“It feels so great to be back here. I missed my “ASAP” family. Thank you very much for having Zia and I here again,” Zsa Zsa said.
