For his assignment, Zaijan asks Zymic to cry everyday.

"Manood daw po ako ng mga nakakaiyak na movies, tapos may assignment po siya sa’kin na cry everyday daw po habang nanonood,” he tells Yahoo Philippines at the recent press conference of GMA afternoon series “Yagit.”

Not all the time

Zymic says he has not grown tired of tearing up in front of the camera.

The 10-year-old actor stars in the remake of the ‘80s TV drama created by Eddie Ilarde and Jose Miranda Cruz.

Zymic concedes he doesn't follow his brother’s advice all the time, but the technique works best for his  kuya.

Learning from Kuya

Zymic doesn’t mind working with Zaijan’s rival network because it’s GMA that gave him  (Zymic) the break via the 2013 soap opera “Prinsesa ng Buhay Ko” and the recently-finished “Niño" (Zaijan is a Kapamilya talent).

Like other siblings though, Zymic says he and his 13-year-old brother argue at times.

The newbie child actor, who’s now in Grade 4, admits work has been eating up his time in school, but sees to it that he makes up for lessons he misses.
