Polyvore Live: Fashion bloggers to turn models for online streaming show

Polyvore Live takes place February 13

Bloggers including Frou Frouu's Nadia Sarwar, Christina Caradona of Trop Rouge and Julie Sarinana of Sincerely Jules will be leaving their laptops to take to the runway at next week's inaugural Polyvore Live fashion show to champion rising design talent.

The writers are just a few of the names in a list of 22 top bloggers selected to model at the presentation February 13, which has been organized by online fashion community Polyvore and CoverGirl cosmetics.

Set to stream live on Polyvore's site at 18:30 EST, the presentation will showcase creations by four graduates from New York's Fashion Institute of Technology: Lauren Bagliore for Lauren Bagliore, Vengsarkar Budhu for Gavaskar, Sergio Guadarrama for Celestino and Dana-Maxx Pomerantz for Dana-Maxx.

Perhaps the bloggers are hoping to follow in the footsteps of Fashion Toast’s Rumi Neely, who has previously taken to the catwalk for the likes of Rebecca Minkoff as well as appearing in campaigns for brands such as Forever 21 and Rag & Bone.

The show has been scheduled to coincide with the city's Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, which runs February 9-16 and will see top designers including Diane von Furstenberg, Michael Kors and Betsey Johnson showcasing their Fall 2012 ready-to-wear collections.
