Moon Chae Won Shot Her First Surgery Scene of ′Good Doctor′ for Nine Hours
Moon Chae Won had to lead a long, long shoot alone, shooting her first surgery scene for nine hours on end.
In KBS′ Good Doctor, Moon Chae Won plays Cha Yoon Seo, a tough pediatric fellow.
She is kind toward Joo Won, who is autistic, as well as the children in her ward, but she is also a tough woman who doesn′t hesitate to go against decisions made by her bosses to save lives.
In the August 13 broadcast of the drama, Moon Chae Won will appear in a surgery scene for the first time.
She′ll be flaunting her sharp side, staring into her patient with sharp eyes and going through each step with her quick hands.
The shoot for the scene took place on July 25.
As Moon Chae Won had to lead the scene alone, she continuously tried to jump into her role, practicing her lines full of medical jargon over and over again and repeatedly going over how to use each instrument.
She also talked things over with and asked a lot of questions to the advisors who were on the scene.
During the nine hours she worked, she sweat profusely in her surgery gown, but still managed to pull through perfectly to praise from her staff.
The next episode of the drama will air on August 12.
