Not a ‘couple’, but the 'best of friends.'
This is how Kris Aquino described her current relationship with Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista, amid speculations that they have stopped dating because Herbert reportedly still has family issues to resolve.
Rushed to hospital
Kris, who was rushed to the hospital in the afternoon of Tuesday, April 22 due to low electrolytes, took to Instagram to share that Herbert gave her boxes of electrolyte sports drink.
"I got home & saw all the Gatorade waiting for me. Thank You HB! (Sorry I broke my rule about not mentioning him in my IG account. ☺️)," Kris posted on Tuesday evening.
She added, "We're not a "couple" but we are the BEST OF FRIENDS. And in this uncertain world, we're sure to be FRIENDS FOR LIFE. That's actually what we started as, it's where we are most comfortable being, and for whatever tomorrow may still bring, true & lasting friendship is always the best foundation."
She posted a few lines fromTyler Collins' song "Thanks to You," and used positive hashtags like #noregrets, #stillbelieveinlove and #someday.
"May I quote my favorite song? "Thanks to you for teaching me how to live, putting things in perspective. Teaching me how to give, and how to take, no mistake..." I grew up a lot this 2014 & he had a big role in what I am today. #noregrets #stillbelieveinlove #someday 😇💛💛💛 GOOD NIGHT."
Kris admitted early this month that she and Herbert are a "work in progress." She said that her family was impressed when Herbert asked permission from her older brother, President Noynoy Aquino to date her.
Meanwhile Kris shared in the April 22 episode of "Aquino & Abunda Tonight” that she was brought to Makati Medical Center earlier that day, while they were taping an episode for Kris TV in Intramuros.
"Nahilo ako, as in major pagkahilo while taping in Intramuros. By about 4:15, parang umikot na. I was (having) cold sweat, headache, bodyache and all, so nagpadala na ako sa hospital."
Kris was dehydrated so her electrolytes dropped. She advised viewers to avoid going outdoors from 1 to 4 pm.
"I'm anemic. Mababa ang red blood cell count ko and hemoglobin. But that's hereditary. Yung lack of electrolytes, I guess it was because of the heat."
She also shared a funny incident while having her check-up. Her doctor asked Kris if she is pregnant.
"Nakakaloka yung doctor. Bago niya ako ng kung ano-ano, sabi niya, 'Ma'am, I hope you don't mind. I just want to know. Are you pregnant?' (I said) No, I'm not pregnant! Nakakaloka ka. Hindi po ako pwedeng mabuntis. Wala po akong ginagawa para mabuntis," Kris said, laughing.
