Kris hurt as suitor backs out
Kris Aquino admitted that she’s not giving up on love even if her budding romance with an unnamed suitor was cut short.
The TV host announced that her suitor has stopped communicating with her before Valentine's day, her birthday.
"Ang sad. Ako ang nasabihan na 'I never want to talk to you or text you for the rest of my life.' Kung pwede ko lang talaga ma-rewind at ma-edit kung ano ang nangyari.
Nasabihan ako talaga. Kina-shock ko talaga iyon. Bu I let it go. Iyon din sabi ko, 'Ouch, how harsh.' Pero at least walang lokohan," Kris told her guests Pokwang and Erich Gonzales during the February 17 episode of "Kris TV".
Taking the blame
Kris admitted that she’s also to blame.
"Siguro grabe rin naman ang nasabi ko. At least inaamin ko. Meron din naman akong fault."
Now, she regrets that the romance was nipped in the bud.
"Sabi ko, 'Ate (Kris' sister) hindi man lang pinaabot sa birthday ko, nakakainis. Doon ako buwisit na buwisit talaga."
After she allowed herself "to be sad for one day," Kris feels much better because she prayed for help so she won’t feel bitter about the whole thing.
"Kapag nag-mature ka ma-realize mo talaga. Kagabi talaga pinray ko, 'Don't let me be bitter, God.”
Sister’s advice
Kris also finds comfort in her sister's advice.
"Sinabi ng Ate ko kagabi, 'Well, he had the courage to take you out and like you. So, that's why malakas din ang loob niya to tell you na ayaw na niya sa iyo.' Reality. Sabi ng ate ko, 'If he doesn't like my sister, he's not good enough for my sister.' Sabi ko, 'Tama, Ate.”
New suitor
Kris hinted that she is entertaining another suitor these days. Erich urged Kris to give the guy asking her out for dinner a chance.
Kris recently made everyone curious about her love life again when she posted photos and quotes on love and relationships on Instagram.
"If you won't give yourself a chance, how will you ever have a chance? I'm giving myself a chance," she said.
