Kim Joon gets into graduate school

Kim Joon, the singer-actor who played one of the F4 members in the Korean version of "Boys Over Flowers," was recently accepted to the graduate school of the Hankuk Academy of Foreign Studies.

School representatives revealed that Kim Joon, who played the mafia heir Woobin in "Boys Over Flowers," will major in Global Culture Content. Kim Joon's management expressed that they are very proud of the actor's academic accomplishment, noting that he gained interest in the field of international studies after meeting fans from foreign countries in the course of promoting "Boys Over Flowers." They added that Kim Joon wants to further study the Korean culture, specifically the hallyu phenomenon, on a deeper level.

Kim Joon' studies at the Hankuk Academy of Foreign Sciences will begin in March 2011. Kim Joon is also part of the idol group, T-MAX. They participated in the "Boys Over Flowers" soundtrack and are now busy preparing for their upcoming album, which is set to be launched sometime in the first half of 2011.
