VideoAGF 2018: The Smiling Afro visits a maid cafe at Asia Game Festival
The Smiling Afro visited the inaugural Asia Game Festival on Sunday (10 June), where he witnessed the CPL regional championships for PUBG, met a lot of cosplayers, and tried to visit a maid cafe. The two-day event also played host to the national qualifiers for Hyperplay, the first ASEAN League of Legends competition.

Gamers, cosplayers and anime fans mingle at Asia Game Festival
Fans of e-sports, music and anime came together at the inaugural Asia Game Festival, which took place over the weekend (9 and 10 June) at the Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre. Celebrity cosplayers such as Aza Miyuko and Onnies graced the festival, taking part in a meet-and-greet session with visitors. The two-day festival also featured anime music concerts from the likes of BACK-ON and bless4, and had several stalls selling anime merchandise and toys.

VideoAGF 2018: Pokémon Special Premier Events
Fans of Pokémon were also part of the fun at the Asia Game Festival on 9 and 10 June. Over the two-day event, the Pokémon Video Game Singapore Open 3 was held between players from various ages, with the youngest being eight years old. There was also the Pokémon Trading Card Game Special Event and League Cup, which has also been held in countries such as Hong Kong and Thailand recently.
