It's Taco Bell's world and we're just living in it. At least that's how it's felt since the Live Más conference, a press conference the brand put on in Las Vegas last month. During the event, reps for Taco Bell announced what was in store for fans of the Tex Mex chain in 2024, and let's just say it was a lot. From new iterations of fan-favorites like its hot sauce packets and the iconic Baja Blast to an entire new menu of savory items, it's a good time to be a Taco Bell fan. And this week, the chain is back in the news with another new item that's perfect for the warmer weather that's on the horizon.

Fresh on menus and just in time for the start of spring is a returning flavor of Freeze that eagle-eyed Taco Bell fans will be happy to see back on menus: the Dragonfruit Freeze. Dragonfruit is a tropical fruit described as tasting somewhere between a pear and a kiwi. The Dragonfruit Freeze made its debut on Taco Bell menu's in fall 2020, and was phased out later that year.

According to Taco Bell's menu the drink features a "a refreshing dragonfruit-flavored freeze with a sweet dragonfruit swirl" that's bright pink and makes it "almost too pretty to drink," the key word there being *almost.*

When its arrival was announced, fans on social media were quick to share their excitement and love for the Freeze. "The best flavor!! I’m so happy," wrote one commenter on a post from the account @markie_devo. "This is literally the best freeze they've ever had," commented another. A Reddit user—who already got a chance to taste the recently-returned treat—wrote, "The new dragonfruit freeze is amazing...Not like I needed more of an excuse to go to [Taco Bell], but now I have one."

Perfectly timed to help celebrate the spring equinox and warmer, sunnier days ahead, Taco Bell just gave us all another reason to Live Más—and hit the drive-thru soon.
