"Palm Beach is such a beautiful town with a lot of Spanish, Moorish, and Venetian architecture, and arches of hot pink bougainvillea everywhere. I wanted the wedding to have that feeling," says Tinsley Mortimer—TV personality, entrepreneur, former Real Housewife of New York, and erstwhile T&C columnist—who got married to Robert Bovard, the president and owner of Augusta Iron and Steel Works Inc., in the tony Florida enclave earlier this month. To realize their dreams of a quintessential Palm Beach affair, the couple—who met in 2021 at Tinsley's cousin Mercer Ferguson's wedding—enlisted event planner and floral designer Everett Simon. He brought in Moorish lanterns, soft pink and coral lighting, and an abundance of green palms, pink and orange roses, peonies, hydrangea, and, of course, hot pink bougainvillea to decorate the private club where the nuptials were held. Even the cake—pink ombré and covered in peonies, courtesy of Lymari Cintron—was on theme, as were the invitations, which were painted by Karli Strohschein.

The weekend was a true celebration of family. Tinsley's sister Dabney was her maid of honor, who walked down the aisle with her baby daughter Carrington in her arms. Robert, a widower who lost his first wife to a brain tumor shortly before he met Tinsley, enlisted his children—twin girls Ruthie and Mary and son Bobby—to be their flower girls and his best man. Tinsley, meanwhile, found a way to honor her late father by pinning a photo of him onto her bouquet. And Mercer, the man responsible for bringing the couple together, served as their officiant. "I feel so blessed and honored to have found this kind, handsome man with three precious children to love," Tinsley says. "My wedding day was truly perfect in every way." A T&C exclusive first look, below.

The Bride

The bride wore a Monique Lhuillier gown made of tulle with white floral appliqués and a shiny silver thread to evoke branches. She borrowed diamond earrings from her mother and wore a cross pendant made from the diamonds of her grandmother’s pin. Her diamond bracelet was Judith Ripka.

The Memory

To honor her father, who died in 2015, Tinsley pinned a photo of him—encased in her mother's jeweled brooch—onto her bouquet.

The Invitations

To match the decor of the wedding, the couple enlisted watercolorist Karli Strohschein to customize their wedding invitations using Palm Beach's signature pink and green hues.

The Highlight

"It was the most special and hilarious moment of the wedding," Tinsley says of their ceremony, which was officiated by her cousin Mercer Ferguson, at whose wedding she and Robert met. "Our service was part traditional and part full of laughter thanks to Mercer. It was so special to have my family up there with me surrounded by my new family—Robert, the twins, and Bobby."
