Sylvia Chang takes only transportation fees for new movie

7 Oct – Sylvia Chang recently revealed that she is taking no salary for her new movie, which will begin production next month.

As reported on Skypost, the actress who spoke about the new project currently titled "The Diminished Light", stated that she will play the role of a widow in the film, which will be revolving around the decline of the neon light industry.

"I will be working with a new director and several acting newcomers in this low budget movie. I will not be taking anything except some transportation fees," she said, adding that her goal is to encourage and motivate new talents.

At the same time, Sylvia said that the project will be a tough one for an actress her age as they will have to complete it in 20 days.

Asked if she would share some tips and suggestions to the new director, the actress said that she would definitely do so - though she would ultimately respect the filmmaker's decision.
