Syamsul Yusof and Puteri Sarah back to public spat again
19 Apr – While it seemed that everything has died down earlier, it looks like there is no peace between estranged couple Syamsul Yusof and Puteri Sarah Liyana, who are now back to fighting again after the director refused to pronounce divorce on 18 April following disagreements regarding several matters.
Syamsul, who spoke to the media after the court session recently, said that Puteri Sarah asked for a huge sum of money and that she refused to retract her lawsuit against Ira Kazar, his second wife, a week after they have agreed on withdrawing each other's claims - him on nusyuz, and her on her lawsuit against Ira.
"It is indeed different from the original agreement. Puteri Sarah's side is suddenly asking for more, asking for more money, asking for more property, which to me does not make sense," he said, though refused to mention the amount.
Puteri Sarah, on the other hand, had no issue revealing how much she asked in a recent Instagram post.
"I talked to your mother and RM500,000 in mutaah and arrears of alimony seems reasonable. I am not demanding even one cent of marital property," she wrote.
Sarah also stated that Syamsul can just sell his Lamborghini to pay for maintenance, saying that there is no point having so many cars anyway.
As for his nusyuz allegation, Puteri Sarah stated that she could do the same and show the court his indecent video with then girlfriend Ira Kazar and see where it will get them.
