Syafiq Yusof delays surgery for the sake of completing his film

13 Jul – Young director Syafiq Yusof is willing to risk his health for his work as he delayed his appendix surgery all for the sake of completing work on a couple of his upcoming movies.
The matter was informed by his father, head of Skop Production, Datuk Yusof Haslam.
"Syafiq will be discharged today (yesterday) after his condition has improved. Maybe he was too worried about his work, including the final CGI edits for his film, "Desolusi", which will meet audiences this September."
"At the same time, he is working on the production for "KL Special Force" too", Datuk Yusof was quoted as saying in BH Online.
Yusof said that his son would need around two months of rest to fully recover from his surgery, hence that would've caused a lot of delays where work was concerned.
The father of the 23-year-old also said that he was willing to delay the release of the film as he was worried about his son's health.
In fact, Datuk Yusof has also said that he advised Syafiq to take care of his well-being and to go for surgery immediately should complications arise again.
