Syada Amzah puts up cats for adoption, and no, she doesn't have 50

26 Oct - Singer Syada Amzah is letting go her many cats, as she prepares herself to leave home and move to another place.

The singer recently announced the adoption on social media, saying that she will be opening up the adoption until the end of November, as the family has been busy moving their belongings from the house owned by sister Shila Amzah.

"Anybody looking for cat to be adopted, or to accompany your own cat, who doesn't mind the colour or age, can text me. God willing, sometime in late November or early December after renovation is completed," she said.

However, Syada didn't forget to add a disclaimer, saying that she doesn't have 50 cats like her sister alleged.

In a previous live on social media, Shila Amzah stated that she was surprised to find that there are 50 cats in the bungalow that housed her mother, Fauziah Sarman and her siblings, a number that was increased after another person not involved with the family decided to live with them and add ten more cats of her own into the mix.

The family had been in conflict with one another following Shila's decision to sell the said bungalow. The singer had since dismissed allegations made by Syada that they were ousted from the house, saying that she wanted to buy the family a smaller home that they can manage financially.
