Susan Sarandon Shows Love is Punk in Sleek Untamed Street Biker Boots at Lingua Franca Debut Runway Show
Susan Sarandon showcased the softer side of biker boots with a dark green pair from Untamed Street featuring smooth, soft leather while sitting front row at Lingua Franca’s debut runway show yesterday in New York.
The legendary actor paired a black Lingua Franca sweater reading “love more” in their signature cursive embroidery with black pants and Untamed Street Radnor dark green buckle biker boots for a casual but sleek look. Later in the evening, she took the look to new levels of cool with a floral embroidered black leather moto jacket.

Motorcycle or biker boots are made of leather and find edgy style inspiration from the sturdy footwear worn by actual bikers. The often boast durable lug soles, buckle or harness detailing, a round or square toe, and typically hit at calf-height. Frye has been making popular moto boots in American since the 1970s, dating back to their Harness Boot, which is inspired by Civil War Calvary. Along with moto jackets and sporty wraparound sunglasses, moto boots have come back into trend in recent years.
In this icon era of her career, Sarandon often opts for comfort with her footwear, pairing sneakers and boots with chic pant suits and dresses. Yet she still finds flair with her choices, including glossy red cowboy boots and shiny rose gold Superga sneakers.
The Lingua Franca fall 2025 ready-to-wear runway show took place at Bowery Hotel against its stunning green and brown tile and featured diverse group of models, including many beautifully well-past the expected youthful model age. The brand was launched by Rachelle Hruska MacPherson in 2016 after she found solace for anxiety in embroidery. They specialize in cashmere sweaters featuring their cheery cursive script, but also offer a range of customizable items from men’s and kid’s denim shirts and jackets to scarfs and dog sweaters.
