Which Supermodel Inspired Kendall Jenner's New Lob?
Last week, Kendall Jenner chopped her long supermodel strands into a fashion lob, sending fans into a frenzy on Snapchat. Now she’s addressing the real reason behind the major mane change, along with the surprising celeb who inspired the chop.
Jenner, 21, who cut off her sleek, straight strands into a tousled, shoulder-length lob last Friday, took to her website to explain why she decided to shed several inches off her signature style. Her biggest source of inspiration? Fellow supermodel and industry vet Christy Turlington.
“Honestly, I’ve been wanting to change my hair for a while now,” she confessed on her website/app. “Christy Turlington’s bob was a total inspiration for me, even though mine’s a little longer.”

But soon after the initial cut, Jenner says she experienced some post-chop remorse.
“I wasn’t nervous about the haircut, really, because I know my hair grows so fast,” she wrote. “But after the stylist chopped it off and I felt it, for a second I was like, ‘Ahh, wait! Take it back!'”

Now, though, the supermodel says she’s all about her new do and is embracing the short style for the season.
“But, I actually really love it now,” she wrote. “It’s only been a couple of times that I’ve looked in the mirror and thought that I want my long hair back. I’ve had the same length forever, so it’s a nice change and perfect for summer.”
