Sunshine Cruz reacts to daughter's pregnancy rumour
16 Mar - Sunshine Cruz recently took to social media to deny once and for all rumours that daughter Samantha Cruz (Sam) is pregnant.
The whole issue sparked after she posted a photo of herself sitting on the sofa with her two daughters Sam and Angeline on social media.
And as always, netizens' focus went straight to Sam's tummy, with some asking if the singer is expecting a child.
After having to deny several comments, Sunshine screenshot the questions on Facebook and wrote, "You guys wanting me to become a grandmother so fast. I hope this answers your question. I deleted some comments because they're increasing."
Sunshine stated that people need to be more sensitive about such a topic, adding that that is one of the reasons why so many young people tend to edit their bodies and faces on social media.
This is not the first time that Sam was rumoured to be pregnant. In December last year, Sunshine expressed frustrations over the speculations that sparked following a photo she shared where Sam can be seen placing her hand on top of her abdomen.
It is noted that Sam, who is also a singer, is only 17. She is one of Sunshine's three daughters from her past marriage with Cesar Montano.
