Sun Li to star in new series, "Thirty-Nine Twenty-Eight"
3 Apr - Sun Li is set to star in the upcoming series, "Thirty-Nine Twenty-Eight".
Sharing the good news on social media, the Chinese actress posted a couple of photos of her looking very stylish and unlike her usual sweet self - in a leather trench dress that she paired with sunglasses, which was the look she went for at the production launch of the drama.
She wrote, "Thirty Nine Twenty-Eight started shooting today. I had been asking the director how to define our drama, whether it is a life drama or a workplace drama. The director also said that it seems difficult to define it in one word. Later I understood that life and work are always intertwined and inseparable."
She continued, "Just like the title of our drama, it represents people in two age groups. They will face their own issues. Even if they encounter the same thing, they may show different values."
In the drama, Sun Li plays Hu Manli, a 39-year-old insurance agent who finds herself facing a change in her career and life.
The drama also co-stars Myolie Wu, who worked with Sun Li in the 2017 drama, "Nothing Gold Can Stay".
