Suki Waterhouse Schedules A Date With ‘Jonathan’

EXCLUSIVE: Insurgent star Suki Waterhouse has boarded the Bill Oliver-helmed sci-fi drama Jonathan opposite Ansel Elgort and Patricia Clarkson. Jonathan, which is shooting, follows a guy with a routine day: He leaves the office at noon and sleeps during the second half of his day. But every morning he wakes up, there is a breakfast prepared for him along with a video telling him about the second part of his day.

The British fashion model-actress will play Elena, the love interest of John, one of the twin brothers played by Elgort. Peter Nickowitz and Gregory Davis wrote the script. Randy Manis and Ricky Tollman are producing and Neal Dodson is executive producing with Jim Reeve and Robert Halmi Jr. The film is produced in association with Oxwich Media and Great Point Media.

In addition to the near-$300M-grossing Insurgent, Waterhouse’s recent credits include Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie, Ana Lily Amirpour’s Jim Carrey-Keanu Reeves dystopian love story Bad Batch and James Franco/Bruce Thierry Cheung’s Future World. Waterhouse is repped by CAA, Untitled Entertainment and Independent Talent Group in the UK.
