Andy Teh admits to be a part of "Mat Kilau" prequel

2 May – Andy Teh recently confirmed that he is a part of the upcoming prequel to the hit 2022 movie, "Mat Kilau: Kebangkitan Pahlawan".

The "The Maid" actor and MMA fighter, who spoke to the media about the new Studio Kembara project, stated that he can only confirm his involvement and his role as an antagonist called Sachai, and nothing more.

"I also can't reveal who the director is or the other cast members involved in the movie," he said. "All I can say is that the director is someone who has a big influence in the action genre."

Andy added that 80 percent of filming has also been completed, and that the cast and crew will resume filming after Eid.

It was last month that Studio Kembara's Abdul Rahman Md Dali revealed that the prequel will begin filming without its original lead actor Adi Putra and director Syamsul Yusof. He explained that the prequel storyline does not have anything to do with Adi Putra's Mat Kilau character.
