Studio denies casting Fan Chengcheng, Zhang Jingyi in new drama

14 Mar – The production team of the new drama, "Our Generation" (also known as "Cherry Amber") has dismissed rumours regarding the casting of the upcoming series.

Earlier it was reported that singer-actor Fan Chengcheng and "Lighter and Princess" actress Zhang Jingyi will star in the drama, which will be revolving around a small-town girl who enters the big city.

On 12 March, Daylight Entertainment, the studio that produces the upcoming series, released a statement on social media, saying that the project has just entered preparatory stage and has yet to determine its casting.

"Please follow Daylight Entertainment and the subsequent series certified Weibo page and not trust other online news," the company added.

The studio recently announced the drama as one of the projects to be helmed this year at FILMART. Other projects included the animated film, "Nirvana in Fire" and the drama, "The Tree of Life".
