Strictly's Nadiya Bychkova and Kai Widdrington discuss ‘marriage plans’
Strictly Come Dancing stars Nadiya Bychkova and Kai Widdrington have opened up about their future plans for marriage after their family settled in the UK together.
Nadiya shares her daughter Mila with her former husband and Slovenian footballer Matija Škarabot.
Nadiya, who joined Strictly in 2017, and Kai, who joined in 2021, have gone from strength to strength since they confirmed they were dating in May 2022
Now, in a new interview with OK!, the couple opened up about the next step in their relationship.
"Marriage is important to me. I want to be a wife, a mother, I want a family," Nadiya said. And Kai is in full agreement.
"It’s a future I want, too, absolutely," Kai said.
"I would love to be a dad and one day be a husband and have a family. Ultimately, we’re not trying to start a family right now, but we are trying to create that family feeling among us and that’s important."
Kai continued: "I know it’s mushy but it’s about love. You have to be there 100% for each other – we always say it’s not 50/50, it’s 100/100."
