Stranger Things 2 hasn’t even landed yet, but its creators Matt and Ross Duffer a.k.a. The Duffer Brothers already have a good idea about when they are going to end the series.

In an interview with Vulture, Ross said that the duo are looking at a four-season arc. Matt added: “We just have to keep adjusting the story…Though I don’t know if we can justify something bad happening to them once a year.”

Ross then added: “They’re going to have to get the f**k out of this town! It’s ridiculous!”

In an earlier interview with TV Line, David Harbour a.k.a. Chief Hopper explained how the show might end:

“We don’t have an open-ended thing like The Walking Dead. There is an end to all these characters. We’re going to give you something fun and then we’re going to get out before we’ve worn out our welcome. We have a specific story that we’re going to tell.”

We at Geek Crusade are eagerly awaiting season 2, especially since Paul Reiser and Sean Astin have joined the cast. In the meantime, look out for our coverage from the Asia Pop Comic Convention this weekend (Aug 25-27), where Commando Geek Wong Jun Heng will meet the Stranger Things cast!

Stranger Things 2 premieres globally on Netflix on October 27
